Bruce Helford
Jacksonville University Alum Bruce Helford is the creative force behind the hit comedy sitcoms The Drew Carey Show and George Lopez. Helford is a veteran comedy writer and Golden Globe and Peabody Award-winning executive producer with over 20 years experience.He began his career as a writer on the network series Family Ties, and served as the writer-creator and/or producer for Roseanne, The Bronx Zoo, Nikki, Norm, The Oblongs, and Wanda at Large. His newest show is Freddie.
