Position Summary

The Department of Mathematics invites applications for a one-year full-time Visiting Assistant Professor position starting in August 2017. A PhD in mathematics is preferred. The ability to teach a broad range of lower-level and upper-level courses is desired. Jacksonville University offers B.A., B.S. and M.A. degrees in mathematics. The Department is committed to excellence in teaching, classroom use of technology, and small class size. The teaching load is 24 credits per academic year. Online or evening teaching may be required.
